Annoucement: Loft Classes Start Next Week

If you’re in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area and you want to be a better writer, be sure you check out the Loft Literary Center’s winter/spring class offerings.

I’m teaching two perennial favorites: The Writing Habit and Writer’s Workout. The Writing Habit class will give you a safe, supportive place to apply the Recommended Practices  (Process, Self-care and Product Time) and other tools to become accountable to yourself and achieve your writing goals.  The Writer’s Workout gives you just enough inspiration and direction to make the most of the freedom of two hours of in-class writing on the writing project of your choice.

The Writing Habit literally revolutionized my writing life. I produced more new writing than I have in months. In addition, I’ve started a long-term revision project, began a major overhaul in my writing space and re-established a daily writing regimen I “lost” about two years ago.  – Tara McDaniel, Writer

This class (Writing Habit) has been a godsend! Rosanne taught me how to make my goals manageable and, more importantly, how to make my writing – my greatest passion – a priority in my daily life. I feel empowered to make my dream of publishing my first novel and perhaps others after it, a reality!  – Emanuel Adreleanu, Attorney and Aspiring Novelist

The motivation that comes from opening up creative ways other than just writing was fabulous (in the Writer’s Workout class). I’ve never felt so excited to write. The class was even better than I’d imagined from the catalog. Two great instructors – very positive, encouraging and with tools and ideas I could put into action. – Tammie Frost-Norton, Aspiring Novelist

Paula and Rosanne are fabulous together! (in the Writer’s Workout class)Their teaching styles compliment each other, producing a well-rounded approach to working on writing. – Rachel L.
