Vote for Your Favorite Post and You Could Win a Free Book!

There’s still time to enter the drawing for a free copy of Around the Writer’s Block. All you have to do is vote for your favorite BaneOfYourResistance post!

I’ve written nearly 300 posts, so you have plenty to choose from.

While you’re figuring out which is your favorite and to give me time for after-book-launch-party details (like updating Pages here on my blog, creating the photo albums from the party on Facebook, writing thank you notes, doing radio interviews, sending copies to authors who generously wrote a testimonial for my book), I’m taking a short break from writing blog posts.

To keep things interesting until the next new post arrives, you get to vote with a comment here identifying your personal favorite. That way we can all keep tabs on which posts are most popular.

Then send a quick email to my publicist at tarcherpublicity @us.penguingroup.com with AWB Giveaway in the subject line. Tell her the title of the BaneOfYourResistance post you like best. Leave your name and simple contact info and she’ll enter you in a drawing to win one of five free copies of Around the Writer’s Block.

Now, I know how hard it is to pick a favorite anything (As Monty Python showed us in The Holy Grail: “What’s your favorite color?” “Blue! No yel—auuugggg”).

So you can enter the drawing once a week between now and September 1 with a different favorite each week.

I’m curious – will the posts that have gotten the most hits of all time be the ones you select as your favorites? Or will a newer post (which has had less time to accumulate hits) rise to the top in this vote?

So far, the newer posts are getting more votes:

Are any of these one of your favorites? Don’t forget to vote at tarcherpublicity @us.penguingroup.com.
