That’s the magic of taking even just a small step: movement begets movement. Just one email can trigger an avalanche of activity. The trick, of course, is to make sure you’re moving in the right direction. But if you’re feeling immobilized by resistance, just about any movement is a good idea. I’d rather get it right the first time, but I’ve finally realized that it is far better to take action and make a mistake (followed by sincere effort to correct the mistake) than to do nothing because I’m afraid of making a mistake.
